It
is the mission of Van Buren Elementary School to pursue
excellence in education by providing every student with
the opportunity to develop his or her fullest intellectual
and social potential, as well as becoming a contributing
member of a changing society. It is Van Buren's goal to
provide all students with the tools necessary to become
effective adults with skills in communication, computation
and reasoning, along with social interaction. We want
to develop students with self-esteem, respect for others,
and personal responsibility.
